Mrs. Daisy

America…can we please add a new amendment to the constitution? Maybe an amendment is a little too harsh, but can we at least get a handle on this situation at hand. The situation I’m talking about is the situation of old people driving crazy slow in areas where the speed limit is 35+. I mean, people have places they need to be and I’ll be damned if I’m slowed down by Mrs. Daisy. Its the same thing every time… They have a million things in their back seat, can’t see out the rear view mirror, sit way too low for comfort in the driver’s seat, the only view they have is through the steering wheel. I don’t get it. GET OFF THE ROAD. Thanks.

Ok, I’ll compromise. They may have the road from 7AM-2PM. If they’re errands aren’t complete by then, they must not have any.

Make Way

It gets real crowded these days. Trying to fit a lot of things into a not so fitting time slot. 24-hours never seems to be a sufficient amount of time anymore, however,t complaining about it will never change the amount of hours in one day. So I challenge you… Make way. Make way for that get-away vacation you’ve been longing for. Make way for that extra five minutes that your children ask for. Make way for the sensual massage your partner deserves just for being who they are. Make way for a conversation with that one person you’ve been avoiding for days…weeks…months. Make way for the hour or two it takes to tidy up the house. And most importantly, make way for yourself. Your day is non-exist without you in it. When making way, it is important to also make YOUR way. You deserve the same attention that you give to others. So the next time you start to feel crowded - stop, slow down, and make way. You’ll be glad you did.
